Roush’s CAE department works closely with our core engineering groups to integrate analysis into the design process, accelerating component and system development. We are constantly focused on refining and enhancing our skills to meet customers’ demands for shorter development cycles and cost-effective solutions. The use of computational predictive measures plays an integral role in our ability to meet these demands.

Our CAE process has been tailored to meet the unique challenges of design and development, combining a full suite of industry-standard analysis tools with a methodology derived from extensive experience. CAE tools are applied at critical stages of product development, including:

Conceptual Stage
New designs can be analyzed before the first CAD line is drawn. Using GT-Power and ADAMS, a design concept can be tested for stability and performance early in the design process. FEA can be used to optimize parts for strength and weight within the packaging space.

Design Verification Stage
Final designs are run through an iterative design prove-out process to optimize structural, NVH, durability, and performance integrity.

Solution Development Stage
Roush employs CAE methods to diagnose and resolve component or system problems.
