FPAS
The Fuel Pressure Analysis System is used for testing fuel pressure rails and their related components. The Fuel Pressure Analysis System incorporates a PC, custom software application, data acquisition hardware, signal conditioning, and a custom fuel injector driver module to achieve precise fuel injector control, monitor pressure fluctuations in the system, and record sound data. The FPAS system performs steady-state or sweep tests on fuel injection systems by controlling injector firing order and duration, while acquiring and recording pressure data at each injector location. Acquired data is excel-compatible, and is provided with post-processing routines to perform delta-pressure calculations, worst case injector determination, 3rd octave and FFT analysis, as well as data viewing and graphing functions.
