DAMPING PRODUCTS

Damping products are designed to dissipate vibrational energy in structures. With our in-depth knowledge of viscoelastic materials and our strategic relationships with materials manufacturers, Roush has earned a reputation as a damping product specialist. Our extensive array of high-performance damping materials and our proprietary materials database enable us to provide our customers optimized solutions for a broad range of applications.

Damping Adhesives
Our wide variety of adhesive materials are available in both raw or finished part form. Adhesives can be produced to customer specification from hundreds of formulations.

Damping Foams
Foam materials can also act as effective viscoelastic damping materials when selected correctly. Roush has identified a wide variety of foam materials with low air permeability characteristics, resulting in excellent damping properties. Many of these foams can be made to be UL certified, and possess antistatic properties, making them suitable for use in consumer/electronic applications.

Rubber Materials
Roush Anatol has a wide variety of rubber materials available in raw or finished part form. Rubber materials can be produced to customer specifications from hundreds of formulations for use in devices like isolators, tuned mass dampers, damping links, and acoustic gaskets. Tuned Mass Dampers
Tuned mass damping is an extremely effective method of reducing resonant vibration. Using our customized optimization software, which interfaces directly with an extensive library of viscoelastic materials, we are able to achieve the desired noise and vibration attenuation characteristics for specific product and customer needs.
