CONCEPT VEHICLE

A major OEM asked Roush to develop a futuristic concept vehicle for an international auto show. The design concept for this vehicle, based on a medium duty truck platform, posed some unique challenges. The vehicle had to evoke both brawn and beauty, wrapping a bold, rugged exterior around a high tech, luxurious interior. Complex new technologies had to function flawlessly, fit and finish had to be perfect, and aggressive timing objectives required seamless execution of a number of simultaneous activities.

Roush delivered. Our in-house access to the complete range of development services required to build this vehicle was critical. We were able to plan, communicate, and execute very efficiently, streamlining more traditional program management processes. Roush’s responsibilities included:
