GABRIEL is a signal analysis tool that
is specially adapted to the investigation of vibratory
and acoustic response typical of machinery that
is subject to periodic excitations. When these
excitations are proportional to shaft speed, the
resulting response is called and "Order".
With GABRIEL, order domain analysis takes
a giant leap forward with the advent of near real-time
point and click order extraction. You will be
treated to a remarkably intuitive display of even
the most complex signals, and you will be able
to dissect those signals into meaningful components
that you can study and listen to in seconds.
GABRIEL is based on the Gabor methods of time/frequency analysis as embodied
in the order analysis toolset of National Instruments’ LabVIEW™ programming
language. Noise and Vibration pro’s will quickly recognize the standard
time/frequency presentation typical of the short time Fourier Transform. What
is unique, however, is the ability to invert the transformation back into the
original time domain signal. Now available for the first time in a commercial
application, it is this extraordinary capability that sets GABRIEL™ apart.
As a stand-alone application, GABRIEL
offers a superb tool for quickly evaluating data
in the field, laboratory , or at your desk. Designed
to be flexible and immediate, GABRIEL was initially
specified by a group of talented Noise and Vibration
Professionals for their own use. Now in it’s
first commercial release, you too can get the benefit
